Noida: Used MP sticker on SUV, one held

NOIDA: A 45-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly using a sticker of an MP on his Fortuner car with a fake number plate and feigning as a representative of an MP to gain undue advantage.

Police said the arrested man Ajay Yadav and his brother Arun Yadav had also availed services of a gunman for over the past nine years after submitting fake documents in Allahabad high court .

The Sarfabad residents claimed that they were witnesses in a murder case and thus managed to get gunner. However, investigation revealed that the duo allegedly manipulated their names to pretend as the real witnesses in the case and the real witness had never demanded a gunner.

The fraud first came to light when a Gurgaon resident complained against the brothers to the Gautam Budh Nagar SSP during a public meeting. The woman Priyanka Yadav had alleged they had misused some cheques from her cheque book which they had sourced from her former address in Delhi’s Rohini and forged her signatures on them.

When cops went to arrest Ajay, they found his car with an MP label sticker. Both the brothers have been booked for cheating, forgery and using false property mark.
