Only 3 students from Simultala among BSEB Bihar Board 2020 Matric toppers, no student in top five

The Bihar School Examination Board, BSEB has declared the Bihar Board Matric Results 2020 on May 26, 2020. The state’s topper factory or Simultala Avasiya Vidyalaya, this year only has three students among top 10 in the Bihar Board toppers list. This is quite a dip in the number this year, as Simultala had the record of producing top rank holders in past 5 years.

This year there is no student among top 5 students and just three students among the 41 students sharing top 10 positions from this premier school.

In the result list three students from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Raj Ranjan, Bambam Kumar ad Rohit Kumar have secured 7th, 8th and 10th position in the Bihar Board Matric Results 2020. The highest score has been of 94.8% which is lower than the last year's scores. There were 16 students last year among the top 10 positions holders from the school.

Simultala was built to fill the shoes of Netarhat Vidyalaya which is now in Jharkhand after the bifurcation of the state of Bihar happened. The school education here is based on the Gurukul system, Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam, the center of excellence and sense of belongingness. This school was the dream project of the then CM Nitish Kumar. The school in its debut year of class 10th Boards had 19 students securing more than 96% which broke all records since 1952. More than 70% of students secured marks between 90-96% at that time. 

Bihar Board had declared the 10th results yesterday with 80.5% students passed. More than 15 lakh students had appeared in the exams. This time the list of toppers has boys dominating the top 10 positions with only one girl in the list. Himanshu Raj has been the topper this year.
