Pankaj Tripathi, Ram Gopal Bajaj's award-winning international film Mango Dreams to release on OTT on October 16

The trailer for Mango Dreams has been unveiled, featuring a stellar cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ram Gopal Bajaj, and Sameer Kochhar. Directed by American filmmaker John Upchurch, this award-winning international film is set to make its Indian debut on the independent OTT platform Open Theatre on October 16. Joining the ensemble are renowned actors Naseeruddin Shah, Rohini Hattangadi, SM Zaheer, and Farah Ahsan.


Mango Dreams weaves a touching narrative of an unlikely friendship. Salim, portrayed by Pankaj Tripathi, a Muslim auto-rickshaw driver, forms a bond with Dr. Amit Singh (Ram Gopal Bajaj), a Hindu man grappling with dementia. Together, they embark on a poignant road trip across India as Dr. Singh seeks his childhood home.

The trailer teases a profound journey marked by compassion, forgiveness, and the enduring power of human connection. Viewers catch glimpses of Salim's kindness and Dr. Singh's vulnerability against the backdrop of India's picturesque landscapes. Their camaraderie deepens as they traverse through their differences.

Pankaj Tripathi's portrayal in Mango Dreams earned him accolades, including the Best Actor Award at the Capetown International Film Market and Festival in 2017. The film has garnered recognition at various international film festivals, including the Arizona International Film Festival 2016, London Asian Film Festival 2017, and Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2017.
