Punjab's only new case in Ludhiana

CHANDIGARH: Punjab's single Covid-19 positive case on Friday was reported from Ludhiana, where a Railway Police Force official tested positive.

With this, the overall tally of positive cases in the state has risen to 2,029, including 39 deaths. Meanwhile, 28 patients - Mansa (8), Jalandhar (7), Ropar (6), Bathinda (4), Fathegarh Sahib (1) and Sangrur (1) - recovered on Friday, leaving only 143 active cases in the state.
