Quarantined in Boudh forced to walk back home in Angul: Returnee workers

Chhendipada: Four transient workers from Rengali region in Angul region affirmed that they needed to walk practically as far as possible home from Boudh area in the wake of completing their isolate period.

The laborers, distinguished as Prashant Patra, Mahesh Sharma, Anand Dash and Duryodhan Behera, affirmed that the organization never really send them back home after they finished their isolate periods in two focuses in Boudh and Athgarh territories.

These workers said they used to function as development laborers at Siddipet in Telangana. The lockdown rendered them jobless. Their manager drove them out without taking care of their obligations following a month into lockdown.

“Left with no choice, we chose to return home by walking. After we came to Motu zone in Malkangiri area, we took a transport to Boudh. The Boudh organization took us to an isolate focus. In any case, following two days we were approached to leave. We needed to walk again and came to Athmalik. We were taken to Nilakanthpada isolate focus where we went through ten days,” Prashant said.

“The Athmallik organization as opposed to making any game plans to send us home requested that we go all alone,” he affirmed.
