Rajasthan: Congress MLA accuses his own minister of corruption, resigns

Kota: Congress MLA Bharat Singh in Rajasthan has resigned after accusing a minister of the state's Ashok Gehlot government of corruption and obstructing work. Singh, who represents the Sangod assembly seat in Kota district, has written a letter to Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot alleging corruption in the state's mining department.

In this letter, MLA Bharat Singh has urged CM Gehlot to protect the government from corrupt people to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Bharat Singh also cited the budget speech of CM Ashok Gehlot in which Gehlot said that his government will work towards ending the flowing Ganga of corruption. Bharat Singh has said that the central government wants to repair a section of the highway, but the state's mining department is obstructing it.
