Ramya Nambeesan joins the cast of Badri Venkatesh-Rio Raj film

It was recently announced that Rio Raj will be playing the lead in Badri Venkatesh’s next. And now, it has been confirmed that Ramya Nambeesan will play the female lead opposite Rio. Badri, who last directed Semma Botha Aagathey , says, “This film has only a limited screen space for female characters. But this role is a powerful one and I wanted a performer.

Ramya Nambeesan is an actress who has proved her mettle as a performer. She has acted in a plethora of roles and is someone who can pull off any type of character. Also, she understands and speaks the language. So, we decided to cast her in the film.”

Said to be a travel film, it will go on floors in Chennai from October 17. “We will be shooting in Chennai, Kodaikanal, Kerala, Gujarat, and Sikkim. This film will have both the hero and the heroine travelling throughout. Rio is a noted actor among the youth and everyone knows that Ramya is one of the finest actresses,” says Badri.

The film also has Bala Saravanan , Robo Shankar, Munishkanth,Viji, Santhana Bharathi, Aadukalam Naren, Rekha, Livingston, and MS Bhaskar.

“Basically, we have all the good artistes in the film,” smiles Badri, adding, “Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring music for the third time for me. He has already completed the scores. We are now looking forward to start the shoot.”
