Rly to partially cancel trains from Oct 19 to 22

Madurai: Madurai division of the Southern Railway has announced partial cancellation of trains between October 19 and 22 in the southern districts to facilitate signal and synchronisation works in the newly-laid Madurai – Usilampatti broad gauge line. These are apart from a few trains that have been rescheduled by an hour or two.

They have made an appeal to passengers to plan their journeys accordingly.

Train No. 56623 Palani–Madurai passenger is cancelled between Kudal Nagar and Madurai on October 20 and 21. Train No. 56624 Madurai–Palani passenger is cancelled between Madurai and Kudal Nagar on October 21 and 22. Train No. 56700 Madurai–Punalur passenger is cancelled between Madurai and Virudhunagar on October 20. Train No.56701 Punalur–Madurai passenger is cancelled between Tirunelveli and Madurai on October 20 and 21. Train No. 56700 Madurai–Punalur passenger is cancelled between Madurai and Tirunelveli on October 21 and 22.

Train No.56805 Villupuram–Madurai passenger is cancelled between Tiruchchirappalli and Madurai on October 20 and 21. Train No.56806 Madurai–Villupuram passenger is cancelled between Madurai and Tiruchchirappalli on October 21 and 22. Train No.56825 Erode–Tirunelveli passenger is cancelled between Erode and Virudhunagar on October 21 and 22. Train No.56826 Tirunelveli–Erode passenger is cancelled between Virudhunagar and Erode on October 21 and 22.

Train No.56821 Mayiladuthurai–Tirunelveli passenger is cancelled between Tiruchchirappalli and Dindigul on October 21 and 22. Train No.56822 Tirunelveli–Mayiladuthurai passenger is cancelled between Dindigul and Tiruchchirappalli on October 21 and 22. Train No.16192 Nagercoil–Tambaram Antyodaya express is cancelled between Nagercoil and Dindigul on October 21 and 22. Train No.22671 Chennai Egmore–Madurai Tejas express is cancelled between Tiruchchirappalli and Madurai on October 21 and 22. Train No.22672 Madurai–Chennai Egmore Tejas express is cancelled between Madurai and Tiruchchirappalli on October 21 and 22. Train No.16343 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Madurai Amritha express will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Madurai on October 19, 21 and 22. Train No.16344 Madurai–Thiruvananthapuram Central Amritha express is cancelled between Madurai and Dindigul from October 20 to 22.

Train No.11021 Dadar–Tirunelveli express is cancelled between Dindigul and Tirunelveli on October 19.
