Shahjahanpur girl gives 43 videos to SIT

SHAHJAHANPUR: A day after former Union minister Swami Chinmayanand was questioned for seven hours and his bedroom at his ashram was sealed by the SIT , the law student’s family said the probe was moving in the right direction.


The 23-year-old student recorded her statement on Friday and handed over a pen drive in which “all the evidence against the BJP leader” is stored.

It has a total of 43 videos.

Swami’s advocate Om Singh said, “The videos she has mentioned are fake as the date shown in the videos is 2014 when the woman didn’t join the college. Her motive was to extort money from my client and tarnish his image.”
