Singla slams Centre over Agniveer row

Mohali : Vijay Inder Singla , the Congress candidate from Anandpur Sahib, on Thursday campaigned and addressed gatherings in Mohali and Kharar.

Addressing the crowd, Singla expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support shown towards the Congress party, despite the scorching heat. He emphasized the importance of upholding democracy and defending the constitutional legacy, asserting the Congress's commitment to opposing the autocratic governance of the BJP.

Speaking to the media, Singla said, “Today, the country is facing significant challenges; the current BJP government is endangering the foundation of our country's Constitution. It has even turned Army recruitment into a fraudulent process.”

“Congress has always strived to bring prosperity in Punjab. We want to address the urgent issues of the state,” he added.
