Six Myanmar tourists hurt in accident

Gorakhpur: A tourist minibus carrying nine Myanmar citizens to Shravasti from Lumbini in Nepal reportedly collided with a Nepal-based tanker near Mahua Chauraha on Gorakhpur-Sonouli highway in Maharajganj district on Wednesday. Six Myanmar tourists, a Tripura tourist, driver and helper were injured in the accident.

Driver of the tanker fled the scene and the behicle has been seized. The injured include 5 women from Myanmar — Chakhu Y, Nis Khilta Deen, Mis YY Kin, Mishatehate, Momohe and two men — Mai Palida of Myanmar, Rifru of Tripura, driver Ashok Kumar of Prayagraj, Amit Singh of Pratapgarh.
