Special train to clear festive rush: ECoR

 

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has chosen to run an immediate uncommon train among Visakhapatnam and Subedarganj (Prayagraj) to clear extra surge of travelers during the merriments and winter excursions.

The train will run through Vizianagaram-Srikukalam-Bhubaneswar, authorities said.

The ECoR’s activity was a piece of the choice taken by the Ministry of Railways to run unique trains in various goals by making extra compartments, an authority said.

The Visakhapatnam-Subedarganj-Visakhapatnam Suvidha Special will leave Visakhapatnam at 11.50 pm each Tuesday between October 8 and November 19.

Consequently course, the train from Subedarganj will leave at 10.10am each Thursday between October 10 and November 21, he said. Subedarganj is only 15 minutes from Prayagraj (past Allahabad), he included.

This extraordinary train has one AC-2 level mentor, three AC-3 level mentors, seven sleeper class compartments, three below average compartments and two gatekeeper cum-gear vans.

The train will stop at Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Naraj, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Midnapur, Bankura, Adra, Gomoh, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Pt.Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn, Mirzapur and Pragyagraj among Visakhapatnam and Allahabad.

Travelers may book tickets in the unique train to abstain from holding up rundown in standard trains, the authority said.

A choice with respect to expansion of the unique train will be taken later, he included.
