Sriram Sena chief Pramod Mutalik's ban on entry into Goa, ban deadline extended

Goa government on Thursday extended the ban on Sriram Sena chief Pramod Muthalik and his associates for 60 days to enter the state. Mutalik is a right-wing leader known for making inflammatory speeches. They have been banned from entering Goa since 2014. So that any kind of inflammatory speech is not given in Goa.

According to media reports, South Goa District Collector Ajit Roy issued an order under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, extending the period of ban on Muthalik, his associates or members of Sri Ram Sena to enter the state for 60 days from 17 November 2019. 

In his statement, Roy said that this decision has been taken after reading the report of the Superintendent of Police which said that there are sufficient reasons for not allowing Sri Ram Sena and its leader to enter Goa. Their efforts in coming to Goa have been stopped because they could not give reasons.
