STF arrests dreaded criminal from Hisar

Chandigarh: The Special Task Force (STF) team of Hisar has arrested a dreaded criminal, Narender alias Mota, on Saturday. Narender, carrying reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, was nabbed along with his accomplice Rampal, from Narnaund police station area. The police also recovered 600 grams of opium from their possession.

A spokesman of police department said Narender, a resident of village Moth Karnail in Narnaund, was wanted in several cases of crime including murder, loot, dacoity and drug peddling. Atleast 19 criminal cases were registered against him in different police stations of the state.

Meanwhile, director deneral of police (DGP), Manoj Yadava, appreciated DIG STF, Sateesh Balan and his entire team for intensifying crackdown on criminals.
