Stray dog mauls five-year-old in Sambhal

BAREILLY: In a savage attack, a stray dog bit and scratched a five-year-old boy’s face at Enchwada village under Asmauli police station in Sambhal district on Tuesday morning. The boy was rushed to hospital, where his condition is stated to be critical.


The boy, Lalit, was playing outside his house when the dog attacked him.

His father, Jaspal, said his son had not gone to school as it was raining in the morning.

“All of sudden we heard his screams and a dog’s barking. We rushed to rescue him and found him being mauled by a dog. With difficulty, we managed to rescue him and rushed him to hospital. He was bleeding badly as the dog has bitten him viciously,” Jaspal said.
