Swaminarayan monk attacked for denial of admission in gurukul

Rajkot: A Swaminarayan monk was attacked with iron pipes in Dhasa of Botad district on Monday.

Police said Swami Aksharprakash Das of Dhasa Gurukul was attacked allegedly by an assailant identified as Munna.

“In his complaint, the monk, alleged that as he refused to grant admission to Munna’s son into the gurukul, Munna got angry with him and attacked him,” said an official from Dhasa police station.
