T to get tech and extension centres

Hyderabad: The state government will develop technology centres and extension centres at a cost of Rs 300 crore. The technology centres will be set up in the suburbs of Warangal and the extension centres will come up in Karimnagar. State planning board vice-chairman B Vinod Kumar reviewed the proposals with officials from the state industries department and Centre, and directed the collectors concerned to acquire land to set up these centres. The centres will be set up to train youth in emerging technologies and help them acquire jobs.tnn
