'Tankhah' to Langah's associates: Takht awards

Taking cognisance of the “pardon” conceded to previous SAD priest Sucha Singh Langah, the Akal Takht today articulated previous individual from SGPC’s Dharam Parchar Committee, Rattan Singh Jaffarwal, and its Kadian part, Gurinderpal Singh Gora, as ‘tankhaiya’ (blameworthy of strict offense).

They were accused of disregarding the Akal Takht’s ‘hukumnama’ against Langah by having relationship with him and encouraging his ‘pardon’ from ‘panj pyaras’ of Nihang organiation Tarna Dal at Gurdwara Garhi Baba Banda Singh Bahadur in Dhariwal, Gurdaspur, on Monday.

Giani Harpreet Singh, who granted the ‘tankhah’ from the Akal Takht’s platform, said the two would be quickly expelled from all positions and boards of the zenith body.

Langah was suspended on October 5, 2017, by the Akal Takht after his offensive video had circulated around the web.

On Monday, Langah had officially presented a conciliatory sentiment before the ‘panj pyaras’ of the Tarna Dal, whereupon he was given strict discipline of clearing the gurdwara floor, washing dishes and cleaning shoes day by day for one hour for the following 21 days.

Subsequent to tolerating it, Langah participated in ‘amrit sanchar’ (service of sanctification), allegedly to be acknowledged back to the network.
