Jaipur : In scorching heat of May, whole of India is suffering.Temperature is breaking records in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, MP and Maharashtra. Today temperature reached 50° Celsius in Churu, Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, this is the second maximum temperature measured in Churu in the month of May in the last 10 years. Earlier, in the year 2016, on May 19, the temperature was 50.2 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, Churu in the state recorded the highest temperature on Tuesday. The maximum temperature there was 50° Celsius, which is the second maximum temperature in the month of May in the last 10 years. The rest of the states are also suffering from heat. Bikaner recorded the maximum temperature at 47.4 degrees Celsius, 47.0 degrees in Sriganganagar, 46.5 degrees in Kota, 46.4 degrees in Jaisalmer, 45.7 degrees in Barmer, 45.0 degrees in Jaipur, 44.0 degrees in Ajmer and 44.0 degrees in Jodhpur.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong heat wave at various places in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur and Kota divisions of the state. The maximum daytime temperatures in these areas are estimated to be 45–47 ° C.

According to the Meteorological Department, the heat wave is expected to continue over the next 4-5 days, including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi. Whereas in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Telangana are expected to experience heatwave for the next three days, and Marathwada and Rayalseema are expected to experience intense heat for the next 2 days. On Sunday, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heat wave in Bikaner, Churu, Kota, Baran, Bundi, Zalawad, Dholpur, Karauli, Jhunjhunu, Sawai Madhopur, Barmer, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Sriganganagar, Nagaur, Jodhpur.

Uttar Pradesh is also under the grip of scorching heat. The state has been the hottest in the last 24 hours. Where the temperature was recorded at 48 degrees. Talking about other districts, Prayagraj recorded 47.6, Jhansi 47 degrees, Agra 46.7 degrees, Varanasi 46 degrees, Orai 46.5 degrees, Kanpur 45.6 degrees, Sultanpur 45.4 degrees and Churk 45 degrees.
