According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong heat wave at various places in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur and Kota divisions of the state. The maximum daytime temperatures in these areas are estimated to be 45–47 ° C.

According to the Meteorological Department, the heat wave is expected to continue over the next 4-5 days, including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi. Whereas in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Telangana are expected to experience heatwave for the next three days, and Marathwada and Rayalseema are expected to experience intense heat for the next 2 days. On Sunday, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heat wave in Bikaner, Churu, Kota, Baran, Bundi, Zalawad, Dholpur, Karauli, Jhunjhunu, Sawai Madhopur, Barmer, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Sriganganagar, Nagaur, Jodhpur.

Uttar Pradesh is also under the grip of scorching heat. The state has been the hottest in the last 24 hours. Where the temperature was recorded at 48 degrees. Talking about other districts, Prayagraj recorded 47.6, Jhansi 47 degrees, Agra 46.7 degrees, Varanasi 46 degrees, Orai 46.5 degrees, Kanpur 45.6 degrees, Sultanpur 45.4 degrees and Churk 45 degrees.
