Three youths drown in Chittorgarh village

Udaipur: Three youths drowned while bathing in Mahadev anicut of Dhanet Kala village around 10 km from Chittorgarh city, on Saturday. A local resident informed the police around 12 pm about the incident.

According to police, three friends — Bal Kishan Lodha, Pankaj Jatiya and Shivang Bhatt — had gone to the anicut for bathing.

An eyewitness told the police that one of them slipped into the water and was drowning and in an attempt to save their friend, the other two also jumped into the water and were swept away with the strong current.
