TN SSLC Result 2020: Declared! 10th Public Exam Results available on dge1.tn.nic.in - all students promoted

Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations, TNDGE has declared TN SSLC Result 2020 for the 10th Public examination. The result is now available on the official site of TNDGE on dge1.tn.nic.in as well as dge2.tn.nic.in and also on tnresults.nic.in. Students can check the result on third party results websites like manabadi.co.in and school9.com.

All students are promoted this year with total passing percentage of 100 percent. 

TN DGE would also be providing the mark sheet online after a few days. This year, the SSLC examination were cancelled due to the pandemic. The government had announced that the students would be promoted based on a weighted scoring for scores from internal examinations.

On the new window that opens, enter the roll number and click submit

TN SSLC Result 2020: Pass Percentage and Past Trends 

In 2019, the TN SSLC Result was announced on April 29. TN Class 10 Exam in 2019 was conducted from March 14 to March 29, 2019. Students had to score a minimum of 30 out of 150 marks in theory exams and 40 out of 50 in practical exams to pass Tamil Nadu 10th results.

The overall pass percentage last year was 95.2 percent and girls performed better than boys. The pass percentage of girls was 97 percent and the boys pass percentage was 93.3 percent. Tirupur district topped the list with 98.56 percent, followed by Ramanathapuram with 98.48 percent and lastly Namakkal with 98.45 percent. TN Board does not release the names of the class toppers.

About TN SSLC Result 2020

TN SSLC Examination is conducted by the TN DGE every year in the month of March and April. As many as 9.75 lakh students appear for the examination every year. In 2019, 9.76 lakh students had appeared for the examination. TN SSLC 2019 results were declared on April 29, 2020. Pass percentage for 2019 was recorded at 95.2%.
