Tom Brady to be roasted by Bill Belichick and Randy Moss in Netflix special

Tom Brady is all set to be the target of some ruthless jibes during the Netflix Is a Joke Fest. But who will be throwing humorous jabs his way?

It's a glamorous cast that includes, amongst others, Brady's former coach Bill Belichick, Randy Moss and Rob Gronkowski, all hosted by Kevin Hart himself.

With confidence intact, Brady has entered into the spotlight stating he's ready for whatever comes his way. "I'm un-roastable. Let's go," says the brave man in the event promo video released by Netflix.

But comedian Jeff Ross, also known as the "Roastmaster General", doesn't seem to believe him. The experienced roaster left a stern warning for Brady saying: "We're coming for you, pretty boy."

Brady has been making headlines throughout his illustrious NFL career. The legend, well-known for setting records for passing yards and Super Bowl victories, will turn 43 soon but shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. Although his detractors will likely target his well-publicised divorce from Gisele Bundchen, the supermodel, and alleged involvement in the Miami Dolphins' tampering scandal, Brady remains unfazed.

Joining the football legends and other former NFL teammates like Drew Bledsoe and Julian Edelman, a host of well-known comedians are also set to take a swing at Brady. The lineup includes Ross, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Nikki Glaser, Andrew Schulz, Tony Hinchcliffe, and Sam Jay.

Ross, who has a history of roasting famous athletes, is particularly excited about the event. Sharing an encounter with Brady during an April appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show, he said: "I caught him the last Super Bowl he won about three years ago, on Super Bowl Sunday.

"I saw him looking at my Instagram stories. I was posting roasty jokes about the Super Bowl, and I happened to see Tom Brady, I was like, 'This is what this guy's doing right before the Super Bowl? ' I wrote to him and I said man, I think you'd be a great person to roast, and now here we are, on the big stage, doing it live on Netflix.

"And then of course he agreed to do it, he signed the contract, and then to get out of it, he unretired for a year or two. And to his credit, he stuck with it, and he's brave, man. Tom Brady is like 'go for it -- nothing is off limits'," Ross added. "The thing I love about Tom Brady is he's a student of the roast. He told me it was his dream to get roasted."

Brady's roast is part of a larger 10-day comedy showcase on Netflix, running until May 12. The streaming giant is sponsoring over 400 stand-up comedy shows across Tinseltown at 35 different venues.
