'Varshangalkku Shesham' box office collection day 15: Vineeth Sreenivasan's film collects Rs 1 crore from India on Thursday

Vineeth Sreenivasan ’s recently released film ' Varshangalkku Shesham ' continues to enthrall audiences. As it enters its fifteenth day at the box office, the film collected an estimated Rs1 crore in net earnings in India, according to a report by Sacnilk.

Helmed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, 'Varshangalkku Shesham' features an ensemble cast including Pranav Mohanlal , Dhyan Sreenivasan , Aju Varghese, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Basil Joseph, Neeraj Madhav, and Nivin Pauly, among others.

The film's stellar performances have been lauded by audiences and critics alike, adding to its acclaim.

On Thursday, April 25, which was also the film’s fifteenth day in the theatres, 'Varshangalkku Shesham' maintained a significant presence in Malayalam-speaking regions, boasting an overall occupancy rate of 21.43%. With its remarkable performance over the first 15 days, the film has earned an estimated Rs 32.9 crore in net earnings from India. The worldwide box office collection of the film currently stands at Rs 69 crore. Its overseas earnings stand at an impressive Rs 33 crore.

ETimes rated ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ 3 out of 5 and wrote, “Almost 20 years after Mohanlal and Sreenivasan did a film together about celluloid dreams, titled Udayananu Tharam, their sons have come together in a film on the same theme, but with a different feel. While Varshangalkku Shesham is also about missed opportunities, the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial, which spans about 50 years, is at its heart a story of friendship, with lots of in-jokes woven in. Vineeth's script, where the two friends blow hot and blow cold, doesn't flow smoothly. And while audiences loved the jokes referencing Sreenivasan or the industry, the rest of the humor doesn't really land. Also, it's a bit disappointing that there are no prominent female characters. From such a fun team, we would have expected a more engaging, moving film.”
