[VIDEO] Sachin Bansal forays into AMC business

New Delhi: Co-Founder of Flipkart and now a serial entrepreneur & Investor Sachin Bansal is all set to foray into Mutual Fund space. Sources say that Bansal is in advanced talks with Goyals for buying out Essel Mutual Fund. In fact, multiple meetings have already happened between representatives of Sachin Bansal & Essel MF in Mumbai.

Essel MF was earlier in talks with SREI Group but the talks did not materialize on valuation concerns.

ET NOW learns that former Bank of America banker & Sachin Bansal friend Ankit Agarwal is leading talks for Essel MF acquisitions. Bansal aims to transform Essel MF into a technology backed asset management platform. After Flipkart exit, Sachin Bansal had announced his interest to foray into BFSI space and started BAC acquisitions in 2018 to build and invest in businesses in diverse verticals.
