All the political parties have their own agenda and no agenda speaks about animals. Tiger deaths, protecting the environment, tackling pollution are the biggest issues which should be considered by the parties before it’s too late.

After a string of tiger deaths this year and last, as many as 11 tiger cubs have been sighted in the past week - five in Panna Tiger Reserve and three each in Nauradehi and Ratapani sanctuaries.

In Nauradehi sanctuary, the forest staff are happy after the first tiger births in years. Radha and Kishen, were translocated from Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks to Nauradehi. The furry trio were spotted on May 9, said the officials.

In Panna, two tigresses have given birth to five cubs. One more tigress gave birth to two cubs while another one gave birth to three cubs. “We have 52 tigers in Panna now,” KS Bhadoria, field director of Panna told TOI.
