Woman found dead with throat slit in Odisha's Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Unidentified miscreants allegedly murdered a woman inside her house by slitting her throat at MV-79 village under Kalimela police limits in Odisha’s Malkangiri district today.

The deceased has been identified as Chinam Karami. She was residing in the village with the sister as her husband works in Andhra Pradesh.

Around 12 noon today, the miscreants barged into the house while Chinam’s sister had gone to a nearby market. Besides killing the woman, they also looted cash, gold and valuables from the house.

Police have seized the body, sent it for post-mortem and started investigation into the incident.
