Yogi Adityanath in Ghaziabad on March 6 to review preparations

GHAZIABAD: UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Ghaziabad on Wednesday to review preparations ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on March 8. According to Ghaziabad district magistrate Ritu Maheshwari, Yogi will visit the New Bus Adda metro station and Sikandarpur where the civil terminal is coming up.



“The chief minister will visit Ghaziabad on Wednesday, and will inspect the New Bus Adda metro station and Sikandarpur where civil terminal is being built ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit on March 8,” said the district magistrate.

The Special Protection Group (SPG) to inspect the PM’s security also inspected the two venues on Tuesday, which will host Modi’s programme. “The SPG team was accompanied by officials from the administration and GDA officials who suggested some changes at the venue site which will be adhered to” said a GDA official.

The GDA has hired a private company for Rs 88 lakh to make arrangements for the PM’s visit at the two venues.

According to the initial plan, the PM will arrive at New Bus metro station and after inaugurating the metro corridor, he will head to Sikandarpur where he will inaugurate the civil terminal at Hindon air base.
