- Only three players were able to get a double-digit score for the visitors. Ireland succumbed to pressure starting from their skipper falling on the first ball. It was downhill from there. Curtis Campher though showed some positive signs by scoring a fifty. Shakib Al Hasan was the star with the ball, claiming a five-fer while Taskin Ahmed ended with three. Shakib Al Hasan though was just too good with the ball.
- A comprehensive win for Bangladesh and after ODI series, they win the T20I series. They were just superb throughout. First, due to rain, the match was slashed to 17 overs per side. It was pouring from the sky before Bangladesh showed up to bat. Boy, they went bonkers from the word go, scoring 200 with everyone making an instant impact. Litton Das and Towhid Hridoy blasted 100 runs in no time and later Shakib Al Hasan gave a fine finish.
