However, they suffered an extraordinary collapse as Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur became victims of a brilliant Rashid Khan hat-trick. But, when everything seemed over, Rinku Singh stepped up and how! Kolkata smashed 31 runs off the final over to get over the line which has never happened in the history of this league.

He has pulled off a stunner here and Kolkata has won a game where they were down and out coming into the last over and after the Rashid Khan hat-trick.  They needed 29 runs in the last over and Rinku Singh managed to hit fives sixes on the last five balls to make this a special day for Kolkata.
