Commentary

- Earlier in the day, it was the stand between Hossain and Nurul Hasan that helped them post a competitive total. Bangladesh might have felt 10 runs short but their bowlers did well to take wickets at regular intervals and to keep their nerves in the end.
- Bangladesh will be relived that the job is done. They were in the game all the time and their bowlers were tight as well. Hasan took three wickets while Mustafizur ended with two. The game did went till the last over but Bangladesh did well to get rid of the batters. Bangladesh now take the lead in this two match series.
- What a thriller this game turned out to be! UAE fought so hard but fell just short. An excellent effort though. They were losing wickets at regular intervals but the top order made much needed cameos to stay in the game. Afzal khan played a cameo in the back end but lost too many wickets till then. UAE should be proud of their effort.
