Ducati XDiavel V4 Teased For India With Relaxed Ergonomics & V4 Power
Ducati has officially teased the XDiavel V4 for the Indian market, signalling the arrival of its most relaxed and cruiser-oriented V4 motorcycle yet. Unveiled globally earlier this year, the XDiavel V4 sits alongside the Diavel V4 but caters to riders seeking a more comfortable riding posture without sacrificing performance. While the powertrain remains unchanged, Ducati has reworked the ergonomics, styling and rider interface to give the XDiavel a distinct identity. With bookings already open, anticipation is building ahead of its India launch.
Ducati has also focused on pillion comfort, making the rear seat wider and more accommodating than before. The seat height stands at 770mm, which is 20mm lower than the Diavel V4, making the motorcycle more approachable for a wider range of riders.
Unlike the older XDiavel 1260, which used a belt drive, the new XDiavel V4 switches to a chain drive, aligning it with the Diavel V4. The braking and suspension hardware are also shared, reinforcing the motorcycle’s performance-focused underpinnings.
The alloy wheels feature a different design, and the overall bodywork flows more smoothly compared to the sharper lines and creases of the Diavel V4. This gives the XDiavel a more elegant and cohesive cruiser profile while retaining its aggressive presence.
The electronics package mirrors that of the Diavel V4, offering advanced rider aids and multiple riding modes. The familiar interface ensures ease of use while delivering a premium, high-tech feel expected from Ducati’s flagship models.
With its blend of cruiser comfort, superbike-derived performance and modern electronics, the XDiavel V4 is set to appeal to riders looking for a distinctive alternative in the high-performance cruiser segment.
