From Maruti to Tata: 4 Exciting New SUVs Launching This Festive Season in India

As the festive season approaches, automakers are gearing up to tap into the surge in demand by launching a range of new vehicles. Leading car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, and Tata Motors are preparing to roll out fresh models and facelifts in the SUV segment—arguably the hottest category in the Indian auto market. Here's a look at four upcoming SUVs that are set to hit the roads during the festive period.
First up is the much-awaited Maruti Suzuki Victori, a brand-new mid-size SUV that marks Maruti's latest push into the highly competitive segment. Positioned between ₹10 lakh and ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom), the Victori will be sold through Maruti’s Arena dealerships and will come with mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid petrol engine options. Packed with segment-leading features, the Victori is expected to become Maruti's most technologically advanced SUV yet. It will boast a large touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, six airbags
Next in line is the third-generation Hyundai Venue, which has been spotted undergoing road tests. The updated compact SUV will receive a significant styling overhaul, especially on the exterior, to give it a sharper, more modern look. It is also likely to get a feature upgrade
Mahindra is also readying a facelift for the rugged and highly popular Thar 3-door SUV
Finally, Tata Motors is set to give the Punch its first significant update since its debut in 2021. The Tata Punch Facelift is likely to draw design inspiration from the recently launched Punch EV, incorporating sharper exterior elements and refreshed interiors. While the current model already offers a strong value proposition, the upcoming facelift is expected to enhance its appeal with added features, updated infotainment, and safety enhancements.
