Hyundai Venue Knight Edition launched: Variant-wise pricing, changes explained

Hyundai Motor India has launched the new Venue Knight Edition in India. Like the other Knight Edition models, this SUV also gets a darker, sportier theme. Prices for the special edition start at Rs 9.70 lakh and go up to Rs 14.79 lakh, ex-showroom, depending on the variant and powertrain. The Knight Edition is based on select trims including HX5, HX6T, HX8 and HX10. Besides, the company has also announced that its Knight range has already crossed 92,000 units in sales since its introduction in 2022.

Hyundai Venue Knight Edition: What’s new
Visually, the Venue Knight Edition features an all-black theme that gives it a more aggressive look. The SUV features a blacked-out grille, matte black Hyundai logos, revised skid plates, and black-finished alloy wheels, along with roof rails and ORVMs finished in black. It also gets red brake calipers and exclusive Knight badging that differentiates it from the standard model.

Inside, the cabin follows a similar theme with an all-black layout complemented by brass-coloured inserts on elements such as the steering wheel and air vents. The upholstery has also been updated to match the special edition theme.

In terms of features, Hyundai has introduced a dashcam in select variants of the standard model including HX6T, HX10 and N10, offering multiple recording modes.


Hyundai Venue Knight Edition: Engine
Under the hood, the Venue Knight Edition retains the same engine options as the standard model. It can be had with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine producing 88 hp and 114 Nm, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 120 hp and 172 Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine generating 116 hp and 250 Nm. Transmission options include manual and automatic gearboxes depending on the variant.
