Jeep Wrangler Willys 1941 Special Edition Returns To India At Lower Price
Jeep India has brought back the Wrangler Willys 1941 Special Edition, now priced from Rs 68.31 lakh (ex-showroom), making it slightly more affordable than its initial launch in May 2025 at Rs 73.24 lakh. This limited-edition model, which pays tribute to Jeep’s military heritage, now sees 41 units available for enthusiasts across India.
Built on the top-tier Rubicon variant , the Wrangler Willys 1941 stands out with its unique “41 Green” paint, reminiscent of the original military Willys MB. Adding to the nostalgia, the hood features a bold ‘1941’ decal, commemorating the year Jeep’s first mass-produced military vehicle hit the roads. Alongside this special colour, buyers can still opt for standard Wrangler shades like Firecracker Red, Bright White, Black, Anvil Clear Coat, and Billet.
The Willys 1941 Special Edition isn’t just about looks. Practical upgrades include a powered side step, new interior grab handles, all-weather floor mats, and front and rear dash cams, all ideal for off-road adventures. Jeep enthusiasts can also choose an optional accessory package for an additional Rs 3.6 lakh, which adds a sunrider roof, side ladder, and roof carrier, enhancing the rugged, adventure-ready aesthetic.
Mechanically, the Wrangler Willys 1941 retains the proven setup of the Rubicon. It features a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 270 hp and 400 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 4x4 drivetrain. This ensures the same impressive off-road performance that Wrangler fans have come to expect, combined with modern comfort and convenience.
Limited availability, heritage-inspired design, and robust off-road features make the Wrangler Willys 1941 Special Edition a coveted choice for collectors and adventure seekers. With Jeep offering it at a slightly lower price than before, this special edition is now within reach for enthusiasts looking to own a piece of automotive history while enjoying modern capabilities.
