Mercedes-Benz India has expanded its ultra-luxury portfolio with the launch of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS Celebration Edition, priced at ₹4.10 crore (ex-showroom). This special edition brings subtle exterior enhancements and richer cabin upgrades to the already opulent SUV. Importantly, Mercedes-Benz has also announced local manufacturing of the Maybach GLS in India
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS Celebration Edition is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine delivering 557 hp and a massive 770 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission

The SUV also gets the Manufacture Leather Package, which uses premium Nappa leather on seat cushions, executive seats, and even the roof liner.
