Special Lok Adalat in Delhi on February 14: Pending Traffic Challans to Be Settled, Know How to Get a Token

There is important news for vehicle owners in Delhi. The Delhi Traffic Police is organising a Special Lok Adalat in February 2026 to facilitate the settlement of pending traffic challans. This Lok Adalat has been scheduled ahead of the regular annual calendar, offering citizens an opportunity to resolve old challans at reduced penalties or, in some cases, have them waived.

Special Lok Adalat Date and Venues

According to an official post by the Delhi Traffic Police

, the Special Lok Adalat will be held on February 14, 2026 (Saturday). Proceedings will take place from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm across seven court complexes in the national capital:

Karkardooma
Tis Hazari
Saket
Rohini
Dwarka
Rose Avenue

Which Challans Will Be Settled

The Lok Adalat will address compoundable traffic challans, including minor violations such as driving without a licence, overspeeding, parking in no-parking zones and non-pollution-related challans. Cases that were pending on the Delhi Traffic Police portal up to October 31, 2025

, or those transferred to the virtual court, will be eligible for settlement.

How to Download the Lok Adalat Token

Citizens wishing to participate must download a Lok Adalat token (appointment) online. Token downloads begin on February 9, 2026.

A total of 50,000 tokens will be issued daily, with an overall limit of 2 lakh challans/notices

While downloading, applicants must select the court complex and preferred date, based on which an appointment will be confirmed
