Tata Motors Unveils the All-New Tata Punch Facelift in India

Tata Motors has officially launched the much-awaited Tata Punch Facelift in India today, January 13th. The refreshed SUV brings bold design updates, advanced features, and improved performance, making the Punch an even more compelling choice in the compact SUV segment.

Price & Variants

The new Tata Punch facelift starts at ₹5.59 lakh (ex-showroom), with prices expected to vary across variants. Buyers can choose from six trims: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S. Color options include Scientific Blue, Coorg Cloud, Bengal Rogue, Caramel, Daytona Gray, and Pristine White.

Exterior & Interior Updates

On the outside, the facelift gets a subtle but striking refresh. Redesigned headlights and daytime running lights, inspired by the Harrier and Safari, give it a sharper look. The piano black front finish, new lower grille, redesigned skid plates, and updated taillamps add to its bold stance.

Inside, the Punch feels more premium and modern. Highlights include a twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, toggle switches, and a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster. The cabin also boasts dual-tone seats, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, and an intuitive touch-based AC panel.

Engine & Performance

The facelift offers two engine options. A new 1.2-liter turbo petrol delivers 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque, while the existing 1.2-liter petrol engine produces 73 bhp and 103 Nm of torque. Both engines come with 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmissions.

Features & Safety

The Tata Punch facelift is packed with modern conveniences, including a voice-assisted electric sunroof, automatic climate control, seats with extended thigh support, and 10.25-inch alloy wheels. Safety is top-notch, with six airbags, 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring, ISOFIX anchors, blind-view monitor, and hill descent control.
