Newspoint
Bank Holidays 2026 Announced: Bank customers across India should prepare in advance for branch visits in 2026, as banks will remain closed on numerous occasions throughout the year. These closures vary by state and are linked to national holidays, regional festivals, and local observances. Since bank holidays are not uniform nationwide, a branch may be shut in one city while operating normally elsewhere. Knowing the month-wise holiday dates can help customers plan transactions and avoid unnecessary inconvenience.
