Who Is Eligible?

The scheme is meant exclusively for individuals with severe disabilities (60% to 100%). To qualify, applicants must:

• Be a permanent resident of Delhi for at least five years
• Have a family annual income below ₹1 lakh
• Possess a valid Aadhaar card and Delhi domicile certificate

Medical Assessment, Not Just Certificates

The government has made it clear that a disability certificate alone will not decide eligibility. Applicants will undergo a detailed medical examination conducted by a special team of doctors. A scoring system will be used to assess the level of disability and financial need, ensuring that assistance reaches those who truly require it.
