• Alternatively, complete biometric e-KYC at the nearest CSC centre

2. Farmer ID and Land Seeding Are Now Mandatory

The government has made Farmer ID (Farmer Registry) compulsory in several states, including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. This digital ID links your Aadhaar with land records.

• If your Land Seeding status shows “No”, the ₹2,000 instalment will be stopped
• Special verification camps are running in many districts till February 6, 2026

3. Aadhaar–Bank Account Linking for DBT

Your bank account must be:

• Aadhaar-seeded
• Enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)
• If your bank KYC is pending, the government payment may be rejected automatically.

• Visit your state’s AgriStack portal or PM Kisan website

- For Uttar Pradesh: upfr.agristack.gov.in

• Click on Create New User
• Enter Aadhaar number and mobile number
• Verify OTP sent to Aadhaar-linked mobile
• Fetch land details using Khasra/Khatauni number
• Upload photo, add ration card or family ID details
