The much-awaited teaser of Ramayana, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, was dropped on social media, and both celebrities and fans have been constantly sharing their reactions.

Alia Bhatt, who has always been a strong supporter of Ranbir Kapoor, heaped praise on the film. She even went live to say she would share the teaser—and she did. Alia described Ranbir Kapoor's first glimpse as "out of this world."

Soon, netizens began comparing Alia's shoutout for Ranbir with Deepika Padukone, who hasn't posted anything on social media for Ranveer Singh, despite him basking in the success of Dhurandhar. Needless to say, Ranveer's film has crossed over ₹1500 crore at the box office and is touted as one of the most loved films of 2025–2026, and it's still roaring at the box office.

Deepika, post the film's release, hasn't publicly praised or written anything about Ranveer on social media. She also didn't attend the film's premiere. However, many of Deepika's fans argue that she doesn't seek Instagram validation, and that's why she doesn't have to post about it online.

Meanwhile, Alia is going all out to hype up Ranbir Kapoor.

One user wrote, "More respect for Alia Bhatt than Deepika Padukone any day.

Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar becomes India's most talked-about movie, breaks records, creates massive buzz... and Deepika doesn't drop even ONE post. No trailer share, no story, no tweet, nothing. But the moment Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana teaser drops? Alia Bhatt is right there, posting it on her Instagram, pinning it proudly as a supportive wife should. Clear difference. One knows what partnership and loyalty look like. The other? Silent treatment even on her husband's biggest film. Alia Bhatt >> Deepika Padukone in this department. No competition. BTW, I'm not a fan of Alia Bhatt."

However, another thing that has upset fans is that despite it being Hanuman Jayanti, the teaser does not feature a glimpse of Sunny Deol, who plays the role of Hanuman in the film.

Meanwhile, Sunny shared the teaser on Instagram and wrote, "Every generation has grown up with his name. Now the whole world gets to see him—Maryada Purushottam Lord Rama. Namit Malhotra's #Ramayana. Our Truth. Our History."
