Alia Bhatt mocks Kriti Sanon's 'nothing to hide' award, revisits 'Gone Girl' BAFTA moment while hosting Screen Awards
Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt is all over social media, from films to ad films, Met Galas, fashion outfits, and more. She recently even appeared to give an award at the BAFTA Awards, and now she has stepped into full-fledged hosting. The actor hosted the Screen Awards on Sunday.
The actor was trolled for her hosting skills, left, right and centre, with many saying she was overacting and being too loud. She hosted, along with Zakir Khan, for a few segments and then Sunil Grover for others.
Netizens weren't impressed with Alia's hosting skills, and her remarks during the gigs didn't go down well with many.

Alia Bhatt revisited her answer about the biggest plot twist film
It so happened that Alia mentioned Gone Girl while hosting. During their fun banter, comedian Zakir Khan, while announcing the best plot twist film, mouthed a dialogue from the film Gunday, "Mera naam hai Pote, jo apne baap ke bhi nahi hote.
Alia tried guessing the film and tracked back to her answer at BAFTA Gone Girl. Zakhir then answered, Gunday. To this, Alia said, "Gunday! Oh my God, the biggest plot twist is Gunday, why did I say Gone Girl?"
"Haan vahi mujhe laga, koi baat nahi, bade bade shehron mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain (such small things keep happening)," the comedian smiled and replied.
The Gone Girl moment is from her BAFTA 2026 appearance. When the host asked, she said Gone Girl is her favourite film. She repeated the same here.
Alia roasts Kriti Sanon
Alia also took a dig at Kriti Sanon. During a segment with Sunil Grover, they were discussing how actors get awarded in random categories, the most recent being the "Nothing to Hide" award, which was given to Kriti Sanon. Sunil Grover said, "Kuch bhi awards de dete hai," and Alia mocked it, saying, "Nothing to Hide award."
Netizens once again trolled Alia for the same. They said awards are given in random categories so that Alia can't buy them.
For hosting, Alia opted for a monochrome look. She worea black-and-white outfit, she wore a Gaurav Gupta, the skinny black tie and its diamond-encrusted hexagon lapel pin. This single piece of high jewellery added a touch of glamour.
