Gold Rate Today: Gold becomes cheaper again today, know the latest rate of 22 carat 10 grams Gold

Gold and silver prices fell in the domestic futures market on Friday. Gold traded lower on the MCX compared to the previous session, while silver prices also weakened. New gold rates were released in various cities in the retail market…

On Friday, February 6, the prices of gold and silver declined in the domestic futures market. The prices of both the precious metals appeared under pressure at the beginning of trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold futures with expiry on March 5, 2026, opened at around Rs 1,48,889 per 10 grams on MCX. Earlier, in the previous trading session, gold had closed at around Rs 1,50,316. At around 9:45 am, gold was trading around Rs 1,48,836, which shows a decline of around Rs 1,450 compared to the previous closing level. During the initial trading, gold also touched a high of Rs 1,49,531.

Weakness in silver prices too

Silver prices also softened. Silver with a March 5, 2026 expiry date on MCX was trading at around ₹235,505 per kg. This was down about ₹8,310 from the previous session. Silver had touched a high of ₹237,500 per kg in early trading.

Silver rates in the spot market
Retail silver prices varied across major cities. In Delhi and Mumbai, 10 grams of silver was selling for around ₹2,750, while 100 grams could cost around ₹27,500. In Chennai, the price of 10 grams was reported to be around ₹2,800.
