The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel has led to many flight cancellations in the Middle Eastern cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Manama. Dubai Airport update
Dubai Airports on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 stated: “Dubai Airport confirmed that a limited restoration of operations will begin this evening, March 2, with a small number of flights permitted to run from Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International (DWC).”
Etihad Airways refund process
As per the airline’s official social media update, all scheduled commercial flights to and from Abu Dhabi remain suspended until 14:00 UAE time on Wednesday, March 4.

As per Air India’s official social media update: “For bookings made on or before February 28, 2026, with travel originally planned up to March 5, 2026, you can: Reschedule your flight at no additional charge, or request a full refund to your original form of payment.”

IndiGo refund process
IndiGo on its social media posted: “We are extending full flexibility and waivers for travel to and from the Middle East, along with other impacted international sectors, until March 7, 2026, for bookings made on or before February 28, 2026.”

Indigo in a press release stated: From tomorrow, 04 March 2026, more scheduled flights and seat capacity are expected to be offered. IndiGo will be reinstating select flights as part of a carefully planned restoration of its schedule, with safety as the topmost priority. Operations are expected to be resumed to the following destinations inline with prevailing airspace conditions and necessary approvals. • Middle East: Muscat, Jeddah, Madinah • Europe: Athens Totaling 13 return flights (26 sectors).
Adding further Indigo said: For 04 March, repatriation flights to stations in the UAE are being worked upon, however, it will depend on the local situation and required necessary approvals. Given the evolving situation this shall be confirmed at a later stage.
Emirates refund process
Emirates stated: “If you are booked to travel before or on March 5, you can rebook or request a refund. The situation remains dynamic and is assessed continuously. We urge all customers to review the latest operational updates on http://emirates.com and check their email for any notifications about changes or cancellations to their flights before travelling to the airport.

Qatar Airways refund
Qatar Airways stated: “If you have a confirmed booking with a travel date between February 28 and March 10, 2026, you are eligible for: Complimentary date changes of up to 14 days from the original travel date, or a refund of the unused value of your ticket.”
