Launched alongside the Income Tax Act 2025, this upgrade is all about making tax processes smoother, faster, and more digital for individuals and businesses alike.
What is the TRACES Portal?
TRACES stands for TDS Reconciliation Analysis and Correction Enabling System. The new version works as a single-window platform where users can manage almost every TDS and TCS activity in one place. Existing users don’t need to worry, accessing the old portal will automatically redirect them to the updated one. There’s also a dedicated portal for NRIs to make compliance easier.
A Cleaner, Smarter Experience
The biggest highlight is the improved design. The interface is now more intuitive, with a central dashboard that puts everything within easy reach. From downloading TDS certificates and accessing forms to tracking credits and raising correction requests, everything is neatly organized in one space.
