JioBlackRock Flexi Cap Fund adds Swiggy, Gujarat Gas; exits Mahanagar Gas and 18 others

JioBlackRock Flexi Cap Fund added Swiggy, Gujarat Gas, and 10 other stocks to its portfolio in February, according to data released by ACE MF. During the same period, the fund completely exited Mahanagar Gas and 18 other stocks.

In February, the flexicap fund added nearly 6 lakh shares of Swiggy and 40,648 shares of Gujarat Gas to its portfolio. Among the new additions, the largest purchase was in Sagility, with around 28 lakh shares added. This was followed by 1.44 lakh shares of The Great Eastern Shipping Company during the month.

The other eight stocks include some names such as Aurobindo Pharma, Kalyan Jewellers, Honasa Consumer, Elgi Equipments, Zensar Technologies, Nippon Life India AMC, RR Kabel, and Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals.

A complete exit was made from Mahanagar Gas by selling 23,608 shares from the portfolio worth Rs 2.48 crore. The flexi cap fund sold nearly 7.91 lakh shares of Patel Engineering, 7.19 lakh shares of Mangalore Refinery And Petrochemicals, and nearly 4.58 lakh shares of Canara Bank.

Some other stocks: Lodha Developers, Raymond Lifestyle, Jindal Steel, IRFC, Avanti Feeds, Brainbees Solutions, and Go Digit General Insurance.

The exposure was increased in 33 stocks. Around 10.48 lakh shares of Indian Oil Corporation were added to the portfolio taking the total number of shares to 28.38 lakh in February compared to 17.90 lakh in January.

The flexi cap fund added 7.96 lakh shares of Jamna Auto Industries, followed by 6.92 lakh shares of Indraprastha Gas and 5.24 lakh shares of Eternal. Some other stocks were HAL, HCL Technologies, MCX, HDFC Bank, Hindustan Zinc, Infosys, RIL, ITC, and TVS Motor Company.

The exposure was reduced in 21 stocks. Around 1.73 lakh shares of PTC India and 86,125 shares of Lupin were sold from the portfolio in February.

Among the other stocks where the stake was reduced were SBI, Hero MotoCorp, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Ather Energy, Kajaria Cements, Indian Bank, Vishal Mega Mart, and HDFC AMC.

Around 2,449 shares of Britannia Industries were sold from the portfolio in February.

Holdings in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, ONGC, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Wipro, Bharat Electronics, ICICI Bank, Coforge, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, and Siemens Energy remained unchanged during the month. In total, the fund maintained its stake in 52 stocks.

The portfolio comprised 118 stocks in February, down from 125 stocks in January. The fund had an AUM of Rs 2,764 crore, with the portfolio spread across 29 sectors.

In terms of allocation to NAV, the fund had its highest exposure to HDFC Bank at 7.95%, followed by ICICI Bank at 5.94% and SBI at 3.89%.

JioBlackRock Flexi Cap Fund is an open-ended dynamic equity scheme that invests across large, mid and small-cap stocks. The fund is benchmarked against the Nifty 500 Index (TRI) and is managed by Tanvi Kacheria and Sahil Chaudhary.

The portfolio allocation stood at 68.16% in large caps, 13.06% in mid caps, 17.16% in small caps, and 1.63% in other assets.

The scheme has no exit load. The minimum application amount for a lump sum or switch-in investment is Rs 500, and any amount thereafter. For SIPs, the minimum investment is Rs 500, with additional investments in multiples of Re 1, subject to a minimum of six instalments.
