No, MI is mathematically still in. MI has won two out of eight matches and is in the ninth spot in the points table. With six more games to go, there is no room for any slip-ups. They need to win almost all their games. If they can win their remaining six games, they will finish the league stage on 16 points, and 16 points can help them qualify for the playoffs. In case they lose even one match, their qualification scenario would become very difficult.

MI would next take on Chennai Super Kings in an away game on May 2, followed by a return home to face Lucknow Super Giants on May 4. On May 10, they will play Royal Challengers Bengaluru at a neutral venue in Raipur, before heading to Dharamsala to face Punjab Kings on May 14.

After MI's back-to-back debacle, fans are slamming Hardik Pandya for prioritising his PDA with his girlfriend Maheika rather than focusing on his cricketing career.
