PM Kisan Scheme: These four reasons may delay the 23rd installment of farmers

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the central government provides financial assistance of six rupees annually to millions of farmers across the country. This amount is deposited directly into their bank accounts in three installments of two thousand rupees each, every four months.

Now, farmers are awaiting the 23rd installment of the scheme.

The government transferred the 22nd installment on March 13, 2026. Farmers must complete several tasks before the 23rd installment is released. Failure to do so could result in them losing the benefits of the installment.

Today, we're going to explain the reasons why farmers' 25th installment could be delayed. The first reason is e-KYC. Failure to complete e-KYC could result in a delayed installment. Failure to physically verify land documents could also result in a delayed installment.

Ensure your bank account is linked to Aadhaar and that the DBT facility is active. Instalments can also be delayed if the name on your Aadhaar and bank account is misspelled.
