PNB cuts ATM cash withdrawal limits for these cards
Punjab National Bank has revised Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cash withdrawal per day limits for its select debit card variants. The revised limits will be effective from April 1, 2026, PNB has said in a statement.
As per a statement on the PNB website, “The bank will revise the per day ATM cash withdrawal limits for the following debit card variants, as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen risk controls, enhance customer safety and promote secure digital banking.”

The cash withdrawal per day limit from an ATM has been reduced from Rs 1,00,000 to Rs 50,000 on PNB debit card variants such as RuPay NCMC Platinum Domestic Debit card, RuPay NCMC Platinum International Debit card, RuPay Women Power Platinum Debit card, RuPay PNB Palaash Debit card- Recycled PVC Debit card, RuPay Business Platinum NCMC Debit card, MasterCard Platinum Debit card, VISA Gold Debit card and PNB MasterCard Platinum Rise.

For cards such as RuPay Select Debit card, PNB RuPay Select Neo, PNB RuPay Select Excel, VISA Signature Debit card and MasterCard Business Debit card, Punjab National Bank has reduced the ATM cash withdrawal limit from Rs 1,50,000 to Rs 75,000.
Note that the ATM cash withdrawal limit for all other debit card variants other than mentioned above will remain unchanged.

PNB debit card customers can set or reset their ATM cash withdrawal limit within the revised limits through internet banking, the mobile banking app (PNBOne), IVR or using WhatsApp Banking.

There is no change in the transaction limit for POS (Point of Sale), E-commerce and the contactless channel.
How to reset PNB debit card limit online?
Step 1: Login to the internet banking account and go to the option Debit Card Personalisation under the tab Value Added Services.
Step 2: On the next page, choose the relevant account number and service (ATM/Contactless/E-Comm/POS Limit) whose limits need to be modified from the drop-down and click on Continue
Step 3: On the next page, input the required details under fields namely, Card Number, Expiry Date and Card Pin and then click on Submit
Step 4: On the next page, enter the new limit for ATM/Contactless/E-Comm/POS and click on Update.
Step 5: On the next page, enter the OTP as received on the registered mobile number and click on Submit.
The last page will display the message of limit updated successfully.

Step 1: Open the PNB-ONE Mobile App and Login with Your Credentials and Click on Services.
Step 2: Click to Expand Debit Cards.
Step 3: Click on respective update ATM limit, update POS Limit, update Ecomm limit and update contactless limit
Step 4: Select the account number from the drop down list in which the debit card is associated.
Step 5: Select the debit card from the drop down list and fill the details for which the limits need to be modified.
Step 6: On the next page, check the current limit, applicable limit and fill the new limit (ATM, POS, ECOMM, CONTACTLESS) and continue.
Step 7: Enter the transaction password to confirm the request. Limits will be modified successfully.
