Smriti Mandhana– Palash Muchhal wedding back on track? Video shows family meeting [Watch]

Are Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal planning to give their love story a second shot? Months after the whole controversy over their wedding being called off and cheating allegations against Palash, there might be a new development. Video of Smriti and Palash's family members meeting one another at a Mumbai hotel has set tongues wagging.

The video

The video that has piqued everyone's interest is of Palash's sister and singer, Palak Muchhal meeting Smriti Mandhana's father along with her husband, Mithoon. Palak greeted Srinivas Mandhana by touching his feet and the interaction seemed anything but awkward between all of them. The video has given rise to rumours of a possible reconciliation post the couple's split in November.

The two were supposed to get married on November 23, 2025. After celebrating their haldi and mehendi ceremony in grand style, their wedding was first postponed. It was later called off. Smriti and Palash both deleted pictures of the pre-wedding festivities and older pictures with each other from their social media pages.

Smriti's post

Smriti had then broken her silence and written on social media, "Over the past few weeks there has been plenty of speculationaround my life and I feel it is important for me to speak out at this time. I am a very private person and I would like to keep it that way but I need to clarify that the wedding is called off."

She added, "I would like to close this matter here and implore all of you to do the same. I request you to please respect the privacy of both families at this time and allow us the space to process and move on at our own pace."

Now, whether this meeting between the families is a sign of something new brewing or just a gesture of respect; remains to be seen.
